Foodie Friday - time to head out and enjoy some of Yorkshire's finest food

Now that bars and restaurants have reopened, it's time to get out and enjoy time with friends and family. Below is a selection of Yorkshire restaurants who have opened their doors with new delicious menus and you can be assured that all safety guidelines are in place. Enjoy!

Enjoy vegetarian delights at Ginger Cafe

Ginger Cafe has been at the heart of the Halifax community since opening in 2008.

Owned and run by husband and wife (affectionally known as Mr and Mrs Ginger by their customers!) the cafe offers homemade food and drinks, often created with produce from the Ginger’s own garden and always with an emphasis on seasonal, local fruit and vegetables.

Winners of the Totally Locally Favourite Cafe award as well as Vegfest UK Vegan Friendly cafe, Ginger offers food for everyone with an all vegetarian menu featuring many vegan and gluten free options, all made at the cafe.


The Trading Rooms at The Piece Hall re-opens with new menu launch

The Trading Rooms, run by The Piece Hall Trust and located at the iconic Georgian building in Halifax, has re-opened to the public following lockdown and is welcoming customers back with the launch of a brand-new menu.

Delicious seasonal dishes use locally sourced ingredients and take diners from breakfast through to dinner. The restaurant is arranged to accommodate social distancing measures, and also offers sheltered al fresco seating during the summer months.

Bibis is Back!

Bibis were thrilled to open their doors to guests on 4th of July.

The team, guests and health and safety are of paramount importance and they have all worked tirelessly to ensure the restaurant is now covid secure.

There are new food and drinks menus on offer brimming with the finest Italian dishes and most decedent cocktails perfect for welcoming the summer to Leeds.

With an outdoor drinking and dining area opening in the coming weeks Bibis is the ideal spot to relax and unwind with one of our signature pizzas and Peroni or prosecco.

Enjoy fresh ice cream at Blondins

Blondins is situated within The Piece Hall, Halifax. Although their normal menu is limited, they are offering delicious locally made ice creams and beverages. And also hot dogs are available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Open Wednesday to Sunday.

Blondins is run by The Piece Hall Trust with money from every purchase going straight back into helping maintain a sustainable future for The Piece Hall.


Summer themed menu on offer at Dean Clough

True North Restaurant at Dean Clough in Halifax has re-opened with the launch of their new, summer-themed evening dining menu. Join them on Fridays & Saturdays between 5pm & 10pm. Starters include a Fresh Lobster & Crab Dish and a Watermelon Carpaccio; followed by a fantastic Main Menu featuring Fillet Steak, Sea Bass and Grilled Summer Vegetables.

The popular neighbourhood style restaurant is also open for Saturday Brunch and their legendary Sunday Lunch.
